Habits are tiny decisions you make, that can define your life over time. Good habits positively add flavor to your life while bad habits undermine you negatively.
So it’s up to you the kind of habits you want to build over time.
Here is the list of good habits that will change your life
Say a prayer
Do you believe in God, talk to Him? Prayer is communication, you shouldn’t be in a hurry. Talk to God and allow him to speak to you too. Having a good prayer habit set you in motion to conquer anything and everything.
Sunlight basking
Early morning sun is a good source of vitamin D which is good for you.
Use your sunscreen
Protect your skin from UV rays, and use sunscreen as much as you are going to be under the sunlight. Apply it to the areas that are being exposed to the sun.
Make your bed
Kick-start your day by making your bed and keeping it dressed.
Change your bed sheets
Nothing beats clean and freshly washed bed sheets. Clean bed sheets keep the acne away from you and improve your sleeping conditions.
Brush your mouth
Mouth odor is bad, brushing your mouth at least twice daily is a good habit that keeps your mouth feeling fresh and odor-free.
Exercise your body
Since I started my early morning exercise, I have lost 3kg. Exercise keeps you agile and fit for daily tasks. Try it. Start with any exercise you feel comfortable with for a much healthy living.
Positive affirmations
Speak to existence all the positivity you want in your day. This kind of talk has a way of boosting your self-confidence and happiness.
Plan your meal ahead
Taking out time to plan what you eat, and when you eat can help you keep up a healthy lifestyle while reducing your intake of sugar and junk. You’ll have enough time to make sure it contains all the necessary vitamins and minerals required for a healthy body.
Set rewards for yourself
Did you hit your target goals? Give yourself a good treat – and use it as motivation to be productive.
Make your decisions
Don’t allow people to make decisions for you. Decide your life and be responsible for it.

Declutter your email
That uneasy feeling you feel when your emails are left unattended can drain your mood. Form a habit of checking your emails and deleting unrelated, unwanted spam from your inbox folder.

I have a simple skincare routine, just scrub, wash, hydrate, essence, and moisturize. You can’t be looking older than yourself, you need to maintain your God-given skin.
Bath Atleast Once
Bathing is good personal hygiene. Bath as much as you sweat, and at least twice daily.
Start saving
My last savings helped me during that period. I was spending without feeling uncomfortable, and yet I still had the reserve to start up another saving this year. It is a good habit, that will help you curtail your so much want and put you on a target.
Start Investing
invest in yourself- you can start by buying a course on Udemy to learn a skill for yourself. I started front-end web dev skills that helped me set up my blog by myself. Invest in things that appreciate over time rather than depreciate
Volunteer
Volunteer within your community to assist in an event to encourage and strengthen someone who could need help. It is a selfless act of kindness. How do you feel when you volunteer to do good?
Set Healthy Boundaries
Healthy boundaries mean good boundaries. Place a limit around your time, your body, emotions, and your mental health, to stay resilient, solid, and true to yourself.
Declutter your space
Decluttering your space can reduce stress and anxiety. Remove whatever you don’t need to make it more pleasant and organized.
Make time for your hobbies
Finding time for your hobbies can trigger that genuine happiness, improve your mental health and spark inspiration.
Manage your finances
Being in control of your finance gives you a better perspective on how you’re spending your money and where you’re spending it. To help you build yourself and stay in control of your spending habits.
Connect with nature
Find a space to stay in touch with nature. You can grow flowers, plants, or vegetables. And if planting isn’t your thing, you can also connect to nature through stories and art.
Sleep enough
More sleep, more healthy body, soul, and mind. Give yourself enough sleep, especially after a busy day.

Have enough time? Take a walk instead of taking the bus. I used the fitness app on my phone to track my daily steps, I was surprised how my simple walk count reaches 4000 and above daily. Try it.

What have you wanted to do for yourself? Challenge yourself positively and do it.
Take less soda
Reduce your intake of carbonated drinks for a more healthy living.
Limit your digital time
Limit your screen time, for good and more healthy eyes.
Frequent health checkups
Create time, and make sure to get frequent medical checkups, to ensure you are healthy. Prevention they say is better than cure.
Don’t miss breakfast
Breakfast is an important meal of the day, don’t miss it!
Start a side hustle
Aside from blogging, I have a backyard poultry farm, and I brood and sell native and broiler chicken. Side hustles can compensate for your finance and help you stay afloat financially
Go less on processed food
Junk and processed food damage our health, take it slow with it. That’s more reason you need to plan your meal, so you have a bucket list of menus to choose from.
Read the ingredients before buying
There’s a reason the producers list the ingredient and content of their product. Read it before you buy, who knows you can detect some of your allergies.
Never procrastinate
Do it now, don’t wait for late. Procrastination steals time and dreams away.
Learn to say no
People will take advantage of you if you are saying no to some of their requests. Be sure to say No, when you don’t feel like granting any request. And don’t feel guilty about it.
Update your calendar with key dates and events.
A calendar is a great way to stay on schedule and on time, day after day, while also planning for the future.

Your oral health is very important. Go check your teeth for any decay or gum issues.
